We are the Soil, Water, and Land Use team at Wageningen Environmental Research (WENR). We work broadly within three themes and disciplines: soil geography, agrohydrology, and soil physics. Based on our knowledge of the soil-water system, we contribute to solutions for climate adaptation and a sustainable and future-proof design of various landscapes in the Netherlands. Your qualities
- University degree (MSc or equivalent) in hydrology, earth sciences, soil science, or a related field;
- Experience or affinity with multidisciplinary research;
- Experience in leading (research) projects and project teams;
- Results-oriented and focused on delivering quality;
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English (C1 level).

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between € 4.344 and € 6.522 for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 12). Additionally, a contract for 0.8 FTE can be discussed. You will initially receive a one-year contract, which will be extended to an open-ended contract upon in mutual enthusiasm.
