The Position
This is a key role for an experienced research technician to manage a dynamic lab researching plant evolutionary ecology in the Research School of Biology. Our work takes an evolutionary perspective to understanding how plants function and respond in the context of climate change. The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of research projects underway in the group: lab and field. Working closely with students and researchers in the group this role is integral to delivery of our research and the successful applicant will work closely with a broad network of students, researchers and stakeholders at ANU and externally.
The Person
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key. We are looking for someone with a BSc minimum and relevant experience in lab and field ecology and operation of micrometeorological and environmental physiology equipment. A love of working outdoors is a must.
