About the Role
Reporting to the Director: FII through the Research Process / Research Leader in Minerals and Resource Engineering, you will be responsible for conducting research in support of the CRC-Project iTech Minerals Vertically Integrated Battery Anode Material Pilot Plant. You will collaborate with industry partners and UniSA researchers to statistically analyse results and prepare findings for reports, presentations and research publications.

Essential Skills and Experience
- A PhD, or equivalent research experience in Mineral Resource Engineering or related field, with a strong mineral processing background
- Knowledge and experience in metallurgical data analysis, and simulation and modelling of process flow sheets
- Demonstrated ability to apply statistical methods of data analysis for interpretation of analytical results pertaining to experimental factors in a multidiscipline project
- Project management skills, including the ability to initiate, plan and manage projects ensuring milestones are met
- Scientific writing skills demonstrated by a record of peer reviewed publications and conference presentations commensurate with opportunity
