The Institute of Parasitology is a joint institute of the Veterinary and the Medical faculty of the University of Zurich. The Molecular Parasitology Lab focuses on cell and molecular biology of the zoonotic pathogen Toxoplasma gondii and other Apicomplexa.

Your responsibilities

A position is available for a research assistant involved in cell culture, molecular and infection biology as well as general laboratory tasks. The position requires independent working as well as teamwork.

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated young scientist (MS and/or PhD) with a strong background and experience in molecular cloning, cell biology and cell culture techniques. Skills in fluorescence microscopy is an asset.
A good command of English is mandatory, basic German knowledge is also an asset.
