  • Development and implementation of interaction scenarios for an information and companion robot and an autonomous luggage cart at Minden train station
  • User- centered development of intuitive user interfaces for service robots in the public sector by integrating an existing information infrastructure
  • Development and implementation of navigation strategies for robust following and accompanying behavior of the robot in public spaces
  • Conducting human-robot interaction studies
  • Publication of project results and presentation at scientific conferences
  • Collaboration with the project partners and other research groups at CITEC and CoR-Lab

your profileWe expect that

  • Successfully completed academic university degree (Master or comparable) in computer science or a related field of study
  • Ability to work scientifically
  • In-depth specialist knowledge in the areas of mobile robotics, human-robot interaction, intelligent, autonomous systems
  • Advanced programming knowledge in C++, Java, Python on Linux and Android
  • Experience with middleware, ROS/ROS2 and the Gazebo simulation environment
  • very good knowledge of scientific English, both spoken and written
  • Independent, responsible and committed way of working

  • Strong presentation skills and communication skills
