Lecturer in Clinical Simulation, School of Applied Sciences, University of Brighton, UK

Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to work within the dynamic pharmacy subject area of the School of Applied Sciences, University of Brighton. 

You will work with colleagues in the Medicines Use group, to design and deliver simulation teaching to pharmacy undergraduate students, as well as those participating in inter-professional education events. The focus will be on the core skills essential to diagnose, prescribe and monitor patient response to medicines.

We are looking to recruit someone with a proven record for delivering simulation training, especially relating to physical assessment and other patient-facing skills, to health care students or professionals, in either an academic or health care environment. Applications from individuals from nursing, physiotherapy and other allied health care professions are welcomed.  

The purpose of this post is to design and deliver, alongside clinical colleagues, the range of patient assessment skills which underpin the prescribing and monitoring of medicines.

This is a full-time, fixed term post for 2 years. We welcome applications from job sharers.
