Edith Cowan University (ECU) is seeking to appoint a new Executive Dean, School of Science, working across the Joondalup and Bunbury Campuses.

About the Opportunity

The School of Science offers world-class teaching and research facilities in the areas of computing, security, science and the environment. The Executive Dean, School of Science will lead the ongoing development and direction of the School, enhancing the University’s recognition and standing for learning and teaching, research and industry engagement, to support ECU’s exceptional educational experience.

The Executive Dean is a member of the University Executive and reports to the Vice-Chancellor, playing a key role in developing and contributing to the strategic direction for the University. The position also works in close collaboration with the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (SDVC), other members of the University Executive (including other Executive Deans), and other key leadership roles across the University.

The Executive Dean role offers an excellent opportunity for an established leader from a relevant discipline with a vision to support the distinctiveness of the University.
