Position Summary | The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking to recruit an academic Surgical Pathologist for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. This position will involve Gastrointestinal (GI), Liver and Pancreaticobiliary Pathology sign out and general frozen section coverage. A secondary focus in another area of Surgical Pathology would be considered favorably. The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. Regular opportunities are available for teaching in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Applicants must have an MD, DO or other MD-equivalent degree, be board-certified or board eligible in Anatomic Pathology, and be eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Sign-out experience and/or fellowship training in GI/Liver is strongly preferred. |
