Your tasks
As a technology scout (m/f/d) in the Creative Lab:
- Scientific participation in the development of ideas for optimizing plastics for the circular economy
- Participation in the technical conception, planning and support of expert panels: groups of experts who exchange ideas on research topics, possible applications and new developments in small, trusting groups
- Participation in all transfer formats (event series, expert groups, technology checks, hackathons and bar camps)
- Participation in the qualification series for technology scouts to further develop your transfer skills
- Participation in the creation of scientific documentation and reports
- Participation in coordination with the transfer communication department
As a technology scout (m/f/d) in the Innovation Lab:
- Participation in the further development of high-potential ideas and the implementation of preliminary tests to optimize plastics for the circular economy
- Technical conception and development of toolboxes, especially with a focus on the micro and nanostructure of (bio)polymer materials and investigation of the mechanisms of aging processes in plastics using state-of-the-art methods of analytical scanning probe microscopy, such as AFM, STM, KPFM and single molecule -Force spectroscopy
- Participation in the application process for industrial or publicly funded projects
- Participation in the qualification series for technology scouts to further develop your transfer skills
- Participation in the transfer formats offered by Creative Lab
- Creation of scientific documentation, reports and publications
- Participation in coordination with the transfer communication department
The employment is conducive to scientific qualifications.your profileWe expect that
- Completed scientific university studies (e.g. master’s or diploma) in the engineering or natural sciences field
- Profound knowledge in the field of materials physics, as well as associated microscopic-analytical methods such as light and/or scanning probe microscopy
- Laboratory experience in the physical-materials science as well as in the biopolymer and cellular-physiological areas, including preparative and analytical methods (microfluidic measuring cells)
- Very good linguistic and written expression skills in German and English with a very good writing style that is appropriate for the target group

- limited to 3 years (Section 2 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 WissZeitVG; in accordance with the requirements of the WissZeitVG and the contract on good employment conditions, a different contract term may arise in individual cases)
