Position Highlights | The Xiong lab in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology at The University of Arizona is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I. Duties & Responsibilities | Conduct hypothesis-driven research projects, generate and analyze data, and evaluate progress in multiple inter-related projects.Engage in scientific discussion, hypothesis generation, experimental design, and troubleshooting.Work independently and publish quality academic journals.Complete data analysis.Assist with laboratory management.Assist graduate students.Participate in manuscript preparation, and presenting results at Regional/National/International scientific conferences. |
Minimum Qualifications | Ph.D. in organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry or related areas.Demonstrated track record of project completion and relevant first author publications. |
Preferred Qualifications | Strong background in synthetic methodology or natural product synthesis. |
