Postdocs in Artificial Intelligence, Human Technopole, Italy, Europe

Last Date: December 20, 2023.

Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that will help promote life science research both nationally and internationally.

About the lab:

The research conducted in the Jug Lab is pushing the boundary of what image analyses and machine learning can do to analyze and quantify scientific data. The common denominator of projects in our lab is the indisputable necessity to analyze large bodies of data without causing impossible amounts of manual data curation and processing work to life-science researchers (i.e. our users and collaborators).

Next to developing new methods, the Jug Group also has a strong emphasis on casting our methods into modular and reusable software packages. This work happens to a large degree in the context research software engineering projects in collaboration with dedicated personal in the team and in the context of projects such as AI4Life.
